Women of Purpose United

Empowering Women to Unleash Their Purpose | Mental Wellness & Wealth | Sisterhood for Healing & Success

It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. We started with an idea of bringing like-minded women together to love, celebrate, support, encourage, and develop friendships. The first group of women began meeting once a month to be brilliant together back in 2009 in California. This monthly event was called No Boys Allowed (N.B.A.). Who knew it would birth into an entire movement to unite God's precious daughters?

Since its founding in 2016, WOPU has been proud to witness the impact of its support, helping women step into their purpose with confidence and a strong sisterhood behind them. This empowerment has benefitted like-minded women initiatives throughout California and Texas communities.

Our Purpose

At Women of Purpose United (WOPU), our purpose is to empower women—especially women of color—to boldly pursue mental wellness, spiritual alignment, and purpose-driven living. We believe every woman holds a divine calling, and through community, restoration, and intentional growth, she can rise into the fullness of who she was created to be.

WOPU exists to provide a safe, supportive sisterhood where women can heal, grow, and thrive. Whether you're seeking clarity, overcoming adversity, or leading others in their journey, you belong here. Through our programs, events, and mental wellness initiatives, we cultivate spaces that inspire women to align their inner and outer lives with God’s purpose—building confidence, resilience, and balance along the way.

We are not just an organization. We are a movement—uniting real women with real stories to defy limitations and walk boldly in their God-given calling.
